Meet Our Team

Rachel Gorman, Owner
PT, DPT
As a student at UNC Wilmington, I realized PT was the ideal mix of an active profession, continuous problem solving, and helping others achieve mobility and strength; something we often take for granted until we lose it. This took me to Cullowhee, NC to earn my doctorate of physical therapy from Western Carolina University. After graduating, I completed an orthopedic residency and am a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. I also enjoy intertwining yoga into sessions as a Professional Yoga Therapist.
Throughout my career, I have continuously added skills to my treatment toolbelt, and I enjoy using these various skills to provide an individualized approach to each patient’s care.

Sara Weisner
PT, DPT, ATC
Sara grew up in an Air Force family, eventually settling near Lake Placid, NY. Her career path was inspired by her own recovery from a high school cross-country hip injury at a sports medicine clinic where she trained alongside Olympians.
A dedicated Tar Heel, Sara earned her Bachelor's, Masters, and Doctorate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While completing her degree in Exercise Sport Science and Athletic Training, she had the privilege to work with UNC’s basketball, football, baseball, cross country and track and field athletes, many of whom later pursued successful pro careers. One of her favorite memories remains cutting down the net with the women’s basketball team following an ACC Championship win. Although, this is in tough competition with sunny afternoons spent at the Bosh watching baseball.
Sara then pursued her Master's and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy at UNC Chapel Hill specializing in sports medicine. She has been a dual-credentialed Physical Therapist (PT) and Athletic Trainer (ATC) for over 15 years. Her clinical expertise includes sports medicine, running injury prehab/ rehab, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, manual therapy, dry needling and Professional Yoga Therapy. Sara has also served as an adjunct professor for Neurology and Pediatrics at CPCC.
When Sara isn't working, she enjoys running with her local team, Flow Motion. She's looking forward to Boston next year (fingers crossed). Sara and her husband Adam have four athletic daughters, a dog, a cat and a fish. They enjoy lazy afternoons at home!
